Seizing Australian coastal cities in a few hours
Most of Australia’s existing armed forces could be destroyed in a few minutes.
Hostile forces could then be deployed from ‘Trojan Cargo Ships’ to take over all the major coastal cities.

Complications
Australia’s old Collins Class submarine(s) would be a complication for the invader as they probably don’t know where they are.
Several incoming vessels could be sunk by the Collins Class before they our submarines could be eliminated. (As the Collins Class use old lead-acid batteries that have to be charged daily they are far more vulnerable than modern submarines.)
Avoiding this scenario
The following key steps are needed to avoid the above:
- Distribute and hide military assets so they cannot be seen by the thousands of satellites above.
- Get rid of hopelessly vulnerable naval warships that cannot be protected.
- Replace surface ships with maritime strike aircraft.
- Invest in thousands of hidden anti-ship missiles.
- Pivot to advanced non-nuclear submarines that can be delivered in a few years and which we can actually afford to buy.
